Khatru 101! End of "An Interesting Day"
Khatru 101 is up at Shastrix!
"An Interesting Day" was fun because I got to split the party and sort of show off how they handle crises. Well, not Kira so much, since she was gone for like 18 strips. Now, some people might be wondering as to how Ranger was able to die so many times during his (apparently) short time stuck in 'Ranger's Way.' I'm not going to tell you now, but it's entirely possible that there will be an explanation for it. :D
I can, however, say that the Khatru-verse moon was in fact not destroyed on the Interesting Day. Events within Flynn and McKaela's little mental fearverses were like shining a laser pointer through stained glass; some of the light goes through the window, but it's a phantom of it's former strength. Flynn's Critter (so named in Ze Script but not ever really in the story) destroyed an image of the moon in Flynn's fearverse, and some day down the road, astrogeologists might someday discover a fault running through the 'real' moon. Now, this may or may not have an effect on the rest of the plot, but I thought it might be interesting for readers to know some of the mad mechanics of my little imagined world.
If you're confused by the reference in the last panel, and don't understand why I would lose mancred for it, i refer you to this resource. And may Celestia have mercy on my soul. D:
